Systems Automation Engineer

POSITION INFO:

PLC development and maintenance

SCADA development and maintenance

HMI Development and schematics PCS7

Commissioning on site

Run software

Coordinating a team

Programming of software

Maintenance of instrumentation systems

Skills & Experience:

Siemens PLC, PCS7 and SIMIT experience (Highly advantageous)

Minimum of 4 – 5 years automation experience

In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and process control

PLC, SCADA, profibus engineering, networks

Writing software (Advantageous)

Ability to manage technical and commercial aspects of a project

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Proactive, innovative thinker

Be a team player

Qualification:

NDip/ BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Electrical Engineering

Valid drivers licence and own car

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
