POSITION INFO:

As a Systems Analyst, your overall job will be to design, scope and take requirements for the solutions and products DotModus builds for our customers. This will include analysing system requirements and addressing any relevant problems, performing standard testing and providing solutions to ensure high levels of performance and security. As part of a team of developers who are passionate about new IT systems, software development and different programming languages, you will use computers and related systems to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity. Ultimately, you should be able to translate our internal and external clients’ needs into new high-quality IT systems.

Responsibilities : 

• Design new products, platforms and solutions to be built and deployed on various Hyperscaler Cloud Platforms
• Complete entity and functional relationship specification per project
• Define, to a detailed level, product features
• Assist the Agile team in grooming features into Epics, Stories and Tasks
• Design and define Tests, both manual and automated tests
• Ensure all features are properly documented
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
• Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organization
• Running training sessions and workshops on system processes
• Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
• Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
• Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Prepare an analysis of costs and benefits so that management can decide if information systems and computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile
• Devise ways to add new functionality to existing computer systems
• Train the system’s end users and write instruction manuals
• Liaising extensively with external or internal clients
• Analysing clients'' existing systems and business models
• Understanding software development lifecycle
• Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs
• Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
• Conducting requirements analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
• Developing solutions and related products
• Producing project feasibility and costings reports
• Presenting proposals to clients
• Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
• Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met
• Drawing up, supervising and documenting testing schedules for complete systems
• Overseeing implementation of a new system including data migration
• Planning and working flexibly to deadlines
