SUMMARY:

A company situated in Durban is looking to fill the position ofSYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that network is running at an optimum level
Provide IT support system
Maintain and monitor existing systems
Install and configure new PC''s and upgrades
Diagnose and solve hardware and software faults
Escalate faults to service provider when the need occurs
Training users and support on Microsoft products
Maintain and monitor the virus protection software
Roll out of IT Plan
Monitoring back ups
Responsible for connectivity of online meetings ie Teams, Zoom etc
Maintaining the wifi network, patches and updates for desktops and servers
Maintaining / renewing all required licences
Liaising with external IT
Sourcing quotes in line with SCM processes
Dealing with printer/ printing issues / Audio visual connectivity
Managing the audio visual system, setting up for departments and safekeeping of equipment
