SUMMARY:
Looking for a passionate System administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure in an agile environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

I’d tell you a joke about Linux, but some of you would not APT- get it!

Job Description:
Maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain 24x7 uptime
Maintain best practices on systems and services across all environments
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixers on servers, and network hardware
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years IT qualification
Linux certification advantageous
Minimum 3 years Linux admin and support of Tomcat, Postgres, Oracle
Bash or Python scripting
Network management including Firewall and Linux IP table configuration
Design and implementation of monitoring systems
Automation experience with Ansible
Administration of cloud-based infrastructure
Strong technical and user guide documentation skills
Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
