POSITION INFO:
Are you a skilled mechanical operator with hands-on experience in beverage production and a passion for precision and quality? A leading production facility in Lubumbashi, DRC is seeking an RO, Syrup, and Filling Operator to manage and optimise its beverage processing operations. This permanent role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
As the RO, Syrup, and Filling Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining reverse osmosis systems, syrup preparation tanks, filling machines, and associated utilities. You’ll ensure consistent product quality, perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, and collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and uphold safety standards.
Operate and maintain RO systems, syrup and blending tanks, filling machines, and Auto CIP equipment to ensure efficient beverage production. Perform quality checks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and document production data accurately. Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Requirements To Meet Prior To Applying:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a CSD plant with syrup preparation, blending, and CIP.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating RO systems and filling machines.
- Hands-on experience with Auto CIP, tanks, pumps, mixers, conveyors, and labelers.
- Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and quality control skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; QuickBooks/Panstrat experience advantageous.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to work long shifts.
- Valid passport with at least 2 years’ validity.
- Willingness to commit to a 3-year contract.
