Surveillance Control Room Operator

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for a Surveillance Control Room Operator. This position will be based in Evander, Mpumalanga.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Grade B PSIRA Certificate
• Must be proficient in written and spoken English
• Two years experience as a Surveillance Control Room Operator
• Experience in alarm handling systems
• Good communication skills
• Report writing skills
• Clean criminal Record

Duties:

• Conduct surveillance
• Handle all emergency situation from a security control room perspective
• Control alarms, cameras and dispatch armed response officers and all other officers on shift
• Record keeping of incidents
• Update security registers including hourly reporting
• Access Control
