POSITION INFO:

Introduction

An IT company in Centurion has vacancies level 3 support engineers with experience in networking solutions such as web hosting, fibre, LTE, VoIP etc.

The company offers the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Remote support to clients i.e., home and office users on various networking solutions provided by the client:

• Support Desk
• Client Support
• Remote and onsite assistance with PBX and PABX IP base systems
• Managing and maintaining hosted Hyper-V server and Monitoring Resources
• Install and uninstall of server, switches, and firewall system within the DC
• Basic and advance support on 3CX PBX platform from V10 to V15
• MS Exchange, SQL, and Windows Server 2012/2010 and 2016 setup and configuration
• Server 2016 AD, Exchange, DHCP, Terminal services, file sharing setup, deploy and maintaining
• Plesk, WordPress, and mail to web setup and deploy
• Configuration of Exchange/POP/Imp setup and deploy as well as maintaining
• Domain DNS managing
• VoIP skills in support, setup and troubleshooting on VoIP monitor, Wireshark, and Porta

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Level 2 Engineer: 3-4 years’ experience required
• Level 3 Engineer: 5+ years’ experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette

Technology experience required:

• TCIP / IP
• VOIP
• Hosting
• Routing
• VPN
• Microtik
• LTE
• Fibre
• 3CX

Network Server experience required (in highest to lowest priority/requirement):

• KVM (Proxmox)
• Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
• Microsoft Server (Hyper-V) Knowledge and experience
• Mail Servers (Exchange, Exim, Spam Filters, DNS (MX, SPF)
• Xen Server
• VMWare
