POSITION INFO:
Support Analyst (1st line support) required for a software company in Aberdeen.
This role offers an opportunity to move into owning the support function - so you might currently be in a large support team, and ready to strike out and have complete control over the support function (and learn more that way!).
The person previously in the role has moved into another position in the company (software testing), and the company are keen to be able to offer the same growth and ability to learn for anyone that joins.
What that means in reality is that you won''t just be taking ownership of the support function and offering first line support, but you''ll also be able to explore things like reviewing documentation with the Technical Authors, and using the company technology to create dashboards and reports.
Day-to-day as a Support Analyst, you will be carrying out first line support, managing user requests and support tickets, the support portal and support dashboards, as well as helping to improve the support procedures.
You''ll have most of the following skills/experience:
**Strong first line support experience
**Manage user requests, support tickets and the support portal
**Respond within SLA timeframe
**Develop support procedures
**Documentation reviews

With some long-term growth plans, now is a great time to join their testing team.
Their office is newly renovated (so a nice working environment, not your usual bland office!), and is in the city centre of Aberdeen, so easily accessible via public transport. They would like people in the office three days per week.
The salary on offer is up to £35,000, with a benefits package that includes share options and private medical insurance.
