Supply Chain Officer

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Officer for a permanent vacancy based in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 
-                     Matric + Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics Management
-                     5+ years’ experience in a highly regulated office environment
-                     Knowledge of regulatory framework relating to SCM
-                     Good ICT skills
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
-                     Undertake requests for quotations
-                     Assemble potential suppliers compliance documents
-                     Liaise with suppliers and issue orders
-                     Compile and prepare documents for the advertisement of bids
-                     Admin and secretarial support to bid specification, bid adjudication and bid evaluation committees
-                     Maintain supplier database and contracts register
-                     Preparing documents for internal and external auditing
-                     Maintain the inventory store (stationery etc)
