Position Overview: As a Supply Chain/Buying Intern, you will be an integral part of the procurement team, responsible for engaging with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiating pricing, and assisting in tender processes. This internship offers a unique chance to learn from industry professionals while actively contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Conduct research and phone inquiries to identify opportunities for cost-saving and improved sourcing strategies.
• Capture tender opportunities by actively monitoring relevant portals and channels.
• Receive and organize tender documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including uploading all necessary information into the systems.
• Support with general administrative tasks and document filing to maintain organized records.

• Recent graduated from a relevant degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must have strong mathematical ability
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with solid Excel skills 

• Hands-on experience in the mining industry, with exposure to diverse supply chain functions.
