SUMMARY:
Company based in Bryanston is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a 6 month fixed term contract. Must be available immediately!!

POSITION INFO:

Matric
National Diploma / Certificate in Procurement and / or Logistics Management
At least 3 years working experience in Logistics and Supply Chain

Responsibilites:

Order processing

Processes incoming requests for the purchase of stock.
Initiates and processes TPS Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
Submits Supplier Tax invoice to Finance for payment and ensures Proof of Payment is sent to the Supplier.
Confirms order availability dates and shipping information.
Obtains serial numbers from Supplier and passes on to Finance to process the GRV for the Purchase Order.
Raises intercompany Purchase Orders as required.

Logistics

Arranges import and export transactions.
Assesses and recommends ideal shipping methods, timing, routing and carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs.
Coordinate local and international distribution of stock, taking cost and lead-times into consideration.
Arranges for pre-shipment inspections where required.
Ensures economies of scale are achieved where possible.

Administration

Drafts commercial invoices and clearing instructions for shipments.
Complete Request for Conformity (RFC) forms for pre-shipment inspections.
Ensures compliance with customs laws and regulations in the countries in which TPS trades.
Continuously updates the Order Tracking Report to reflect the current status of Supplier Purchase Orders.
Prepares paperwork for local deliveries to TPS customers.

Stock Control

Assists with the monthly stock take conducted by the Supply Chain Manager.
Assists with stock management as required.

Operations:

Co-ordinates, verifies and records outgoing customer stock, including ensuring correct terminal preparation and key loading is complete by technical staff, and delivery notes signed and returned to Finance.
Co-ordinates, verifies and records incoming and outgoing customer terminals, to and from repair.
Ensures terminals are correctly captured in the internal Terminal Management System (LMP) database for those customers without their own LMP for warranty, status and repair information.

Other

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
