Supply Chain Clerk

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Clerk for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Matric with 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be energetic with good planning ability
• Good computer literacy and time management skills
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans required

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Capture and placing orders for both local and overseas purchases
• Obtain quotes from freight agents for air and sea shipments / exports
• Liaising with customers and suppliers
• Creating purchase requisitions and ensure orders supplied timeously
• Daily capturing of invoices and releasing daily
• Prepare price costing and arrange goods collection
• General assistance to ensure smooth running of material supply according to MRP
• Sending invoices for payment and arrange goods passout
• Releasing of credits
• Arrange packing of export containers and shipments for collection

Salary:  R11 000.00 – R15 000.00 pm CTC, Provident and optional Medical Aid for own account
