Supply Chain Administrator Midrand Johannesburg

Our client in Chemical Fragrances Industry is looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to provide a customer service to sales import as well as back up for local, regional, and international clients.

Salary Negotiable

Job Requirements

Liaise with customers placing orders on a weekly basis.

Place orders on Navision - accounting system

Regular communication with Head Office in regarding importing/exporting status

Regular communication with the clearing and forwarding agent re imports

Manage all aspects of Monthly stock take.

Managing distribution function i.e prepare picking sheets and DN for deliveries and ensuring the correct stock has been picked before despatch.

Ensure the warehouse staff receives, check, move and store incoming stock (FIFO – First in, first out principle).

Ensure the stock has been checked and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality, if not to record discrepancy on relevant receiving documents.

Ensure all Inventory processes are completed on the same day.

Invoicing using Navision accounting system

Undertake any other duties as appropriate within competence as required by the head of the unit from time to time

Maintain and develop order file for clients locally to ensure that all orders are monitored and delivered on time.

Monitor status of all imported orders to alleviate any delays and to ensure that all orders are accounted for.

Keep clients, suppliers and management informed of the order process and responsible for problem solving on delayed, damaged orders with assistance from Management (when required).
