Supply Chain Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Durban area is recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator, to support Management in managing and co-ordinating the activities of our supply chain, optimising the Company’s efficiency and working capital whilst maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers.

POSITION INFO:

anage the day to day stock replenishment for the warehouse

Stock control which includes weekly cycle counting.

Co-Ordinate stock takes in liaison with Finance Manager, capturing new count as well as variances.

To liaise with manufacturing teams to access the level of stock

Creation of item codes on our ERP system

Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchasing of Materials for manufacturing and finished items for stock.

To organise/follow up/monitor the logistics of all international orders

To provide all necessary documentation accompanying the stock depending on the country of destination

Ensure items and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for manufacturing.

Foster close working relationships with associated departments e.g. Internal Sales, Manufacture/production and Business development.

To undertake any reasonable request from Management.

• A minimum of 5 years previous experience in Purchasing and stock control role.
• Previous experience in International purchasing
• Com in Supply Chain Management / Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
• Matric Certificate with Minimum English HG C and Mathematics HG C
• Level 2 Certificate in Microsoft Excel
• High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint as a minimum)
• Experience of working with an ERP system is essential
• Knowledge of Gaskets and Sealing products will be an advantage
• Driving License
