POSITION INFO:
Education and Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Fitter and Turner
• Grade 12 / NTC3 with a supervisory qualification would be an advantage
• At least 10 years’ experience in a similar environment (Engineering) in a supervisory capacity
• Fitting and assembly of pumps
• Planning experience would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Diesel Engines and electric panels would be an advantage
• Must be prepared to work shifts as and when the operational requirement necessitates more shifts

 Competencies

• At least 10 years’ experience in a similar environment (Engineering) in a supervisory capacity
• Fitting and assembly of pumps
• Planning experience would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Diesel Engines and electric panels would be an advantage

 Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assembly of centrifugal pumps and engineered products for projects to ensure quality finished goods and sub-assemblies are delivered, as dictated by our internal and external customers
• Supervise and assist with the alignment of pumping equipment to motors
• Conduct route cause analysis and fault finding where necessary
