SUMMARY:
Supervisor Credit Controller - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

ØSupervision and motivation of own team.

ØIdentify ways to improve staff performance.

ØTimekeeping.

ØManage the staff morale.

ØDraft development plans for staff.

ØMonitor Productivity and Deadlines - Coaching Staff and draft targets to achieve outcomes.

ØMaintain personal files for all staff.

ØPerformance Management.

ØMonthly review of KPA’s.

ØApproval of Credit Notes / Refunds / Invoicing & Adjustments as per company DOA.

ØCompiling of detailed daily / weekly / monthly Reports and stat’s.

ØRecruitment – Proactively identify vacancies / Manage replacements for resignations / assist with interviews.

ØHold bi-monthly meetings to update staff and obtain feedback on concerns.

ØManage and maintain departments policies and procedures.

ØEnsure that great customer service is provided to internal & external customers.

ØAccompany staff to company visits.

ØAd Hoc Projects.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

ØMinimum of Matric with 5 years’ experience in a Full Function Credit Control environment.

ØExposure in leading people would be advantageous.

ØComputer literacy: MS-Office Suite (Advanced ability with Excel essential).

ØExposure to high volume corporate and consumer accounts and reconciliations.

ØExcellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

ØA self-starter that uses their Initiative and is deadline / result driven with excellent planning skills.

ØAbility to work under pressure.

ØKnowledge of contracts and disputes.

ØKnowledge of credit vetting an advantage.

ØConflict management.
