SUMMARY:
Store Supervisor required to manage all aspects of operating the store and deliver excellent customer service while dealing with sales, birthday parties or corporate events, customer complaints and queries and staff performance. Based in Edenvale, JHB.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric with English and Mathematics
Minimum 3 year experience in customer facing store management
Minimum 3 year experience in handling daily cash up procedures
Fluent in English
Very strong mathematic skills
Strong communication skills
Strong staff management skills
Strong and accurate cash handling skills
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Duties and requirements:
Customer service

Optimal and efficient solutions to queries and complaints -Customer feedback
Manager feedback

Finance:

Balance cash ups – Sales reports vs actual cash / credit card slips / direct deposits / vouchers/ data capturing
Accurate cash deposits – Deposit slips vs incident reports from cash handling company (Overages / Shortages)
Maintain accurate and sufficient stock levels – System stock report vs actual stock on hand / Sufficient stock levels at all times
Fraud detection and prevention – Balanced credit card slips / Minimal shrinkage

Human resources:

Staff management – Effective running of all activities and posts
Staff training – Staff able to deal with basic customer queries / Required knowledge of activities and operating systems / Customer feedback
Low staff turnover – Long service of current employees
Excellent customer service – Customer feedback

Operations:

General store maintenance – All machines operational / All fixtures are in working condition / All areas of store are hazard free
Overall store hygiene – All areas of store are clean and hygienic
Store operating times – Cash up report times / Timesheets

Knowledge:

Most cost effective and efficient ways to assist customers – Turnover and customer feedback
Manager feedback
