Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Matric

• Production Management/ Supervisor Diploma will be an advantage.

• 2 to 5 years Goods Manufacturing

• 2 to 5 years Team Leader & Supervisor

• Must be able to read ,write and speak English

• Leadership abilities

• Adapt to changes in production

• Computer literacy (MS office)

• Pro-active and quality conscious

• Assertive and decisive

• Drivers Licence is essential

Recognized and/or related tertiary qualification (essential)

Supervisory skills (essential) – ability to manage a shift 

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 (advantageous)

Understanding of Production Managerial principles

World class manufacturing methodologies and technologies mindset

Role and Responsibility:

• Take disciplinary action when necessary.

• Control of stores operations.

• All cycle counting and stock takes.

• Control of consignment stock.

• Follow through on engineering changes and concessions.

• Related data capture.

• Reports as required.

• Ensure that correct procedures are followed for receiving raw materials and components.

• Control of Material flow to production.

• Capture of all scrap.

• Daily stock & production recons.

• Monitor and confirm that production builds to schedule.

• Maintain contact with all customers to ensure that demands are met timorously.

• Follow the procedures for the receipt, data capture and dispersal of goods returned.

• To be responsible for the company vehicles and the forklift.

• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Security regulations.

• Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained
