SUMMARY:
Warehouse Supervisor - George - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Supervisor to oversee production operations in the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety regulations

Salary:
R11 500 - R12 000 basic

Trading Hours:
07h00 - 16h30

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
2. Coordinate with production staff to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any operational issues that arise.
3. Monitor product quality throughout the production process and implement corrective measures as needed.
4. Train and mentor production staff to improve their skills and performance.
5. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
7. Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, quality control, and maintenance to optimize production processes.
8. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal performance.
9. Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
10. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or safety standards.
11. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation

• Forklift certificate
• Code 14 license with PDP
• Relevant experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations and quality standards
• Sound knowledge of production processes and best practices in the FMCG sector
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
