SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Buildings Manager for student accommodation in Rosebank and Hatfield.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

At least 5 years working experience.
Experience in working with people in a wellbeing and development environment.
Training and emotional support skills. Counselling will be a recommendation.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Other skills required: customer service and supervision.
Experience working with teams.
Live on site in the student accommodation building.
After-hour availability for emergency assistance.
Personal involvement in university student life and leadership structures.
Good interpersonal skills, and an ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds
The ability to work under pressure.

Duties:

Custodian of Annual Student Life Programme;
Compile, manage and report on Annual Budget monthly
Submit student life expenses timeously
Variance reporting on budget vs. actual monthly
Manage all stakeholder relationships across entire portfolio and all regions
Manage, implement efficient communication channels with parents and students
Oversee and manage Welcoming Programme for all new students
Overall management of Student Life Managers on site across portfolio
Manage good order in alignment with the House Rules
Oversee House Committee and Disciplinary Committee
Support the intake and vacate process.
Crisis management, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed including written reports, implemented actions and issues reviewed.
