Structural Draughtsperson

SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a talented Structural Draughtsperson to join a reputable engineering firm at their Durban offices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed structural designs and drawings, collaborating with engineers and architects to achieve high-quality project outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and grow within a dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create accurate and detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD/Revit software.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Modify existing drawings according to feedback from engineers and clients.
• Conduct site visits as needed to ensure designs comply with site conditions.
• Maintain organised project files and documentation.

• National diploma in Civil Engineering or Draughting qualification.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in structural draughting.
• Proven project history of working on steel and concrete structures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of building codes and structural design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
