Structural Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Structural Engineer / Structural Engineering Technologist to join an established Consulting Engineering firm located in Gauteng.

Desired Experience & Qualification

The candidate must have min. 2 years of post-graduation design experience as a Structural Engineer / Structural Engineering Technologist in Structural Consulting Engineering.

  • BSc or B.Eng Structural Engineering / BTech: Structural Engineering qualification.
  • Professional registration would be advantageous.
  • Must have min. 2 years of post-graduation design experience as a Structural Engineer / Structural Engineering Technologist in Structural Consulting Engineering.
  • Be proficient in the design of Concrete and Steel Structures.
  • Be proficient in Prokon.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Have a good knowledge of Revit.
  • Have construction site experience.
  • Preparing AutoCAD / Revit drawings and specifications.
  • Be involved in structural projects from concept to completion.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Stable employment record.
