Strategic Operational Lead

SUMMARY:
I am looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of thriving under competing demands whilst successfully managing people and driving an organisation.

We will consider managers with over 8 years experience at a senior level , comfortable setting & managing annual budgets, reviewing monthly management accounts and co-ordinating membership subscriptions.

KEY for this role in addition to the required experience is a passion for music publishing and experience of working in the entertainment industry. 

Recent roles would have involved social media and website content. implementing strategies & stakeholder engagement at a senior level.

This role will require frequent engagement with members, politicians, policy makers, industry stakeholders.  Ideally an understanding of/exposure to law/ public policy would be part of your academic make up.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities would include:

• Implement a clear strategy to deliver results on matters of music copyright protection & industry related policies.
• Influence long term sustainability 
• Drive awareness of the importance of music publishing 
• Implement and drive the Operational plans
• Motivate and develop a small team to service member and grow the membership base.
• Oversee the effective delivery of several member meetings, projects and long-standing initiatives
• Proactively seek out new opportunities for the organisation.

• Strong presentation skills and availability, interest and skill in moderating panels
• Attend events representing the organisation
• Engage the membership in the work of the organisation and key Policy issues
