SUMMARY:
Our client in the ROAD FREIGHT and DISTRIBUTION industry is looking for a Strategic Business Development Executive that has experience doing sales within the industry. This position will be based in Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in doing sales in the DISTRIBUTION/ROAD FREIGHT/BREAK BULK/LINE HAUL/FULL TRUCK LOADS transportation industry.

You will need to understand the market and the competitors within DISTRIBUTION/ROAD FREIGHT/BREAK BULK/LINE HAUL/FULL TRUCK LOADS transportation.

Knowledge of the various types of services or types of packages offered in this industry.

A hunter sales track record will be requested.

This role is purely Business Development in the transportation services industry knowledge within this industry is not negotiable.

The right candidate for the role will be someone who has an absolute passion for hunting and doing strategic sales within the industry, someone who enjoys the challenge that comes with sales and someone who has a natural ability to hunt and secure new prospects.

A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is a must.
