Job Position: Stores Team Leader (Equity)

Location: Port Elizabeth

Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualification

45 hour work week

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum of NQF Level 4
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Automotive warehousing experience highly advantageous
Valid forklift license highly advantageous
Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System
Problem solving techniques / analytical
Ability to manage people
Basic administrative skills

Key Performance Areas:

Lead the team to meet and / or exceed daily and weekly targets
Create an empowered team which makes decisions and solves problems
Demand improved service from suppliers
Look for ways to improve service to customers and know customer rating
Maintain and manage health, safety, environmental and ergonomic standards
Provide on the job training to subordinates
Management of subordinates (attendance, absence control and discipline)
Confident, good communication skills, motivated and results driven
