SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Forestry sector is looking to employ a Stores Receipting Clerk to join their team in Stutterheim.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Timeous and accurate capturing of all goods received by entering items into the Accpac system daily.
Ensure that the goods received per delivery note/invoice agrees to the Purchase order.
Resolve any discrepancies that there may be between the purchase order and invoice/delivery note.
Process the expense of goods daily.
Follow procedure with 3-way match. (PO to Delivery note to Invoice)
Ensure that the procedure with goods returned is followed and that all credit notes are matched.
Communicate professionally in writing and verbally with suppliers.
Request documentation from suppliers and attend to any queries ensuring that requested documentation are received timeously.
Ensure that the purchase order agrees to the Vendors Tax Invoice.
Check that the Vendors Tax Invoice is in accordance with the regulations of Tax Invoices as required by SARS.
Process/GRN and Issue out all goods that are not received on site, according to company procedure.
Provide the internal departments with any information as requested, timeously.
Assist with labelling of items and keeping stock boxes in an orderly fashion on the shelves.
Performing of regular stock counts.
Investigating stock count variances to the system.
Reporting variances with explanations and findings to the Accountant and Stores Manager.
Any reasonable task required within the stores department.

Job Requirements:

Matric or equivalent.
Tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping or 2 years previous exposure to Creditors processing.
Good understanding of Stock accounting procedures backed by a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a stores environment.
Computer literate in all Microsoft applications with proven efficient and accurate data entry skills as a data capturer of at least 2 years.
Sage experience preferential.
Sage Service manager experience advantageous.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Organized and analytical.
Assertive, but polite and respectful.
Strong English communication skills with the ability to communicate across managerial levels.
Ability to communicate in Xhosa will be an added advantage.
Successful applicant to reside in Stutterheim or surrounds
