SUMMARY:
Our client in the Oil and Gas Industry requires an Expert Storeman who has extensive experience in receiving and quality checking goods, for a 6 month contract. Previous Inspection Experience is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

· Grade 12 or N3 Technical Certificate
· Trade tested Mechanical artisan will an advantage
· Read Technical Drawings and specifications
· Computer Literate

Duties

· Match parts and delivery notes received to the order
· Inspect, test, or measure parts being received
· Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometer
· Accept or reject items
· Store accepted parts in allocated area in store
· Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications and report defects
· Complete Report inspection and test data.
· Follow up on out standing orders
· Assist with month end stock take, weekly cycle counts, Assist with shelve life and warehouse utilization reports weekly
