Stores Manager CONSTRUCTION STORES

POSITION INFO:

Construction Stores Manager required for Cape Town based building contractor

This position reports to a Senior Buyer

The main responsibility is to receive and dispatch materials and equipment, Handle Store Requisitions & Deliveries, Updating & Maintaining of Quality Management Systems as well as Yard Maintenance

5+ years construction store experience is required

Supplier delivery management knowledge and must be able to handle the management of site agents for issuing and returns of tools, material and equipment.

Job Activities are processes of achieving main objectives:

Ensure that all agreed upon timeframes for reporting back to Head of Department is adhered to.
Manage all lines of communication effectively and timeously.
Ensure all administrative duties are up to date and accurate at any given time.
All documentation is to be updated, signed off and submitted on time.
General assistance when required
