(Dispatching and Receiving)

Our client is based in Stikland and they are seeking to employ Stores Controller. Do you have a matric certificate and at least one years working experience?

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate.
• Receiving and dispatching of stock.
• Warehouse and stores notes and reports.
• Stores Assistant experience, working with parts and stock.
• Housekeeping experience will be an advantage.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Communications skills – English and Afrikaans.

Duties: (not limited to)
• Assist Store man by identifying stock shortages according to their min/max levels.
• Control and responsible for the daily informal stock take (cycle counting).
• Responsible for any investigations needed for variances on stock – reconciliation.
• Responsible to ensure that FIFO system is used throughout all stock.
• Control and responsible over housekeeping in specific areas.
• Comply and enforce the overall principle of first time right throughout the stores department.
• Conduct reasonable instruction or tasks from Senior Store man.
• Work as a team with the rest of the stores department.
• Perform calculation at departments according to min/max levels.
• Deliver stock to floor according to production consumable stock lists.
• Ensure that the issuing and return procedure is followed at all times.
• Control of storing stores stock and non-stock items.
• Assist with deliveries by offloading trucks via forklift.
• Store and pack all stock away into shelves.
• Ensure all stock is neatly marked and stored in a safe manner.
• Liaise with department manager when needed for any stock priorities or demands.
• Report any stock issues to Store man immediately.
• Ensure that there is no production/operational delay as a result of stock shortages.
• Report any high usage of a stock consumable to the senior store man.

AREA: Stikland (Transport will be own responsibility)
PAY RATE: R49.56 per hour
