Engineering Company seeks a Stores Assistant, for the receiving and dispatching of finished goods to customers and storing off the product in located shelving as per procedure and work instructions

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Moving of finished goods stock into location regularly to ensure walkways are kept clear.

Moving finished goods from one location to another when necessary

Receiving & dispatching of all stocks.

Preparing, wrapping, and ensuring pallets are ready for dispatch in a required manner.

Loading pallets onto trucks/ loading goods for customers

Ensure all goods are signed for before being loaded for either customer or courier

Receiving in of goods and offloading from trucks

Inspection of receiving goods and informing supervisor of any non-conforming goods received.

All movement of stock is to be done with an RF scanner

Assisting with 2nd Operations when required and complying with turnaround times for 2nd operation requirements to ensure maximized offline capacity

Receiving and storing all raw materials received (Sheets, material, packaging)

Report any discrepancies found in the extrusion or matting department.

Responsible for controlling extrusion/ matting stocks and their locations.

Assist with end-of-month stock take – Spot checks to be done regularly.

Head waste scrap is to be weighed and packed into a cage weekly.

Remove waste bins every week for waste collection.

Assist Stores Controller with stock movement.
