Storeman/Picker

SUMMARY:
Our Client who is a supplier of industrial electrical and automation components requires a Storeman/Picker for their PE (Gqeberha) warehouse.

POSITION INFO:

Working hours:

• Mon to Thu 07h45 to 17h00,
• Fri 07h45 to 16h00, and
• 1 Sat per month 08h00-12h00 on a rotational basis

Storeman/Picker responsibilities are:

• Picking of stock items as needed per sales orders
• Packing of stock received from receiving department
• Warehouse Stores housekeeping tasks
• Assist customers at the store collections counter with orders
• Check stock when returned for credits
• Assist sales team with stock queries
• Cooperate with the rest of the employees based on site
• Be Familiar with the health and safety practices and follow all site health and safety regulations

Required:

• Minimum of Matric or NQF4 equivalent
• +2yrs previous Working experience in a similar role
• Capable of moving large heavy objects across vast spaces throughout the day
• Preference for previous Warehouse stores experience
