SUMMARY:

 A well-established fashion retailer based in the Newcastle is in search of a Store Manager to join their team.



JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

  • Give customer service at all times
  • Assist customers with product selection to increase basket value
  • Respond & action customer request on the phone
  • Update customer records as per request
  • Assist with resolve customer queries
  • Ensure that all the departments are well merchandised
  • Ensure that all new/ replenish merchandise is on the sales floor
  • Ensure that all ticketing & visual displays are in place Store Managers to process and receive shipments. They use stock scanning guns and inventory software to check in each box, and then they put it in the stock room neatly
  • Coordinate and implement VM principles (windows and store layouts)
  • Prepare merchandise for Stocktakes
  • Ensure that the store is neat & tidy
  • Ensure that the store is ready for the next day’s trading
  • Prepare store for stocktake
  • Ensure store equipment is secured and accounted for
  • Implement and be aware of health & safety rules
  • COVID compliance (Staff and store)
  • Daily Banking
  • Understand store daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
  • Maximising profitability
  • Assist with action plan to Performance minimise stock loss
  • Manage P&L on a monthly basis
  • Process monthly payroll
  • Process and complete daily & monthly admin (as per Audit requirements)
  • Weekly Attendance Register sign off, process payroll and recon at month end
  • Prepare and sign off stocktake preparations
  • Managers Employees engaged in their daily duties (deployment)
  • Ensure compliance of employees with company policy and procedures
  • Manage the sales floor
  • Ensure Discipline is issued accordingly
  • Recruit, Hiring & training
  • Assist with staff coaching and mentoring
  • Onborading and exiting staff members
  • Liaise with HQ (mediator between Stores and HQ)
