SUMMARY:
A cash and carry type company is looking to appoint a Store Buyer based in Welkom, Free State to manage all aspects of the merchandise procurement function within the store.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric and relevant qualification.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Computer Literate.
- Valid drivers’ licence and own reliable transport.
Duties and responsibilities
- Stock Management and Buying Controls.
- Marketing.
- Daily Budgeting, Sales, Reports, and Targets.
- People Management.
- Finance Control.
- Systems and Procedures.
- Stock Takes.
- Additional Activities over and above normal Buyers Role.
