Store Admin Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client, a successful national retail chain based in Cape Town is looking for a Store Admin Controller to join their team in the Northern Suburbs (Tygervalley region). The object of this role will be to ensure that control procedures and paper work are adhered to and are up to date.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stock Management

• Receiving and Receipting of stock.
• Data capturing.
• Receipting and processing of Branch transfers in and out of store.
• Processing of supplier returns.

Cash Management

• Daily cashing up and balancing of cashiers 
• Daily Banking including collections and float change requests
• Petty cash control

Till Management

• Management of cashiers.
• Issuing of floats and change to cashiers.
• Management of returns and voids overrides.
• Driving good customer service at till-points.
• Management of manual sales should they arise.
• Regular float checks/counts.
• Ensure consistently high standards of housekeeping at the tills.

Till Operation

• May be required to operate a till.

Security and Maintenance

• Minimise potential stock loss by maintaining a high level of awareness and alertness; report all safety hazards and risk factors to your General Manager or Ops.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous retail experience in a similar position and with similar duties.
• Have excellent numeric abilities and can operate accurately and efficiently.
• A strong attendance, reliability and punctuality record.
• Strong customer service principles.
• Be computer literate with regards to emails and basic Excel. Previous IQ Retail experience would be advantageous.
• Be able to work as part of a team.

SALARY:

R10 000 – R12 000
