SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Stock Controller for their Bloemfontein Branch.

POSITION INFO:

Job Specification

The following Key Performance Areas are covered by the position:

• Indexing and Scanning of mill and other supplier material test certificates on to SAP
• Manage supplier test certificates uploaded to ECR (Electronic Content Management) by Mills
• Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure
• Issuing of material test certificates to customers electronically or in hard copy
• Assist customers with technical information electronically with Material Data Sheets
• Check incoming/outgoing loads, ensuring compliance with company rules and regulations as well as legislation
• Accurately record weights of incoming and outgoing vehicles ensuring to collect driver signatures where relevant
• Discrepancies in weight beyond allowed tolerance to be reported immediately to relevant supervisor for action
• Ensure vehicles delivering to site have the correct documentation and goods are intended for the site
• Generating barcoded labels for supplier vehicles
• Collating supplier delivery notes together with manual goods received notes (if applicable) with onward forwarding to administration
• Assist with general adinistrative duties and customer service, answering the telephone and directing calls as appropriate.
• Conducting scheduled cycle counts as well as attending to any stock discrepancy issues
• Complete individual development plan. Attend learning and development courses
• Participate in peer and team learning activities
• Assist with relevant OHS checks Assist with loading/offloading vehicles
• Assist with bagging and tagging

Required Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum of a matric certificate or 5 years proven work experience with acceptable levels of numeracy and literacy (Will be tested)
• Intermediate proficient levels in Excel, Word, Outlook
• Intermediate proficient levels in SAP Understand and ability to use barcode scanning
• Understand ECR (Electronic Content Management) and electronic product test certificates
• Product Knowledge of all products and the ability to understand and learn new products
• Prepared to multi-task, work overtime or shifts when required
• The ability to communicate in English Decision-making,

• Coping under pressure
