Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner

SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in the Mining Industry has an opportunity available for a Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner in the Burgersfort area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) is essential
• Relevant Diploma/Degree is essential
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Stakeholder Engagement, preferably in a mining environment is essential
• Minimum of 2 years in the Communication field is essential
• Computer literacy (MS Office package) is essential
• Knowledge and understating of dynamics and challenges in local communities within mining industry
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) is essential
• A valid Driver’s Licence is essential
• Valid Medical Certificate, or medically fit in order to obtain such a Certificate

KPAs:

• Ensuring that all LED-related Social and Labour Plan commitments are completed and reported on within the specified timeframes and according to plan.
• Supporting development of Enterprise Development (ED) and Supplier Development (SD) opportunities with host communities.Advising and participating in the planning, design and execution of all LED plans
• Measuring the impact and effectiveness of internal and external stakeholder engagement through various feedback channels such as spot surveys, forums, focus groups and by executing research projects
• Actively participating in and managing the Community forum by utilizing it as an effective two-way communication channel
• Ensuring that regular scheduled meetings take place between the Company and its stakeholders and proper records are kept.
• Ensuring regular reporting on internal and external stakeholder engagement and its effectiveness.
