Splicing Technician

SUMMARY:
Well established Fibre company based on the East Rand is looking for a Splicing Technician

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Education: Matric and CFOT Certificate 

Minimum Experience: 2 years field experience as a splicing technician or cable joint with experience of using OTDR tester

Duties and Requirements:

• Collection of all job cards and stock on a weekly basis
• Daily FFTH and FFTH installation
• Neat splicing and termination of optical cables
• Basic set-up of media converters
• Port provision and socket creation on the bricks system

Must have a valid driver’s license
