Spares Sales Representative

SUMMARY:

A well establish company specialising in underground mining equipment is looking for a Spare Sales Representative to join their Lydenburg branch.  

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric is essential.
• Qualified in a relevant trade (Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic etc).
• 5+ years’ experience is essential.
• Knowledge of Mining Industries and Principles.
• Fluent in English (Written and Verbally).
• Computer literate and strong MS Office experience.
• An understanding or experience in the underground mining industry.
• General TMM machine technical knowledge would be an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities

• Quality assessments on all incoming materials.
• Support a team of Sales and Product Engineers with Technical Services.
• Represent and sell Products, spares, and services to the customer.
• Maintain contact with existing customers and develop new business.
• Focus on sales performances, repairs, and development.
• Provide Technical and Sales support.
• Work together with various product specialists.
• Teamwork between all branches.
• Involvement in tenders and decision-making process.
• Face-to-face site meetings with customers.
• Budgeting and forecasting, planning.
• Deliver reporting as required.
• Controlling of stock.
• Management of logistics and delivery.
• Management of order intake and invoicing.
