Sourcing Contract Specialist

SUMMARY:
A leading Waste Management company is seeking the services of a Sourcing Contract Specialist for its Head Office in Germiston.

POSITION INFO:

 Key Responsibilities

• Contracts Management

• Compile, draft and or negotiate contracts with suppliers

• Supplier Relationship Management

• Vendor Risk Management

• Loading and maintenance of Frameworks Agreements of all suppliers

• Administering annual increases

• Handling of internal queries on contracts

• Ensure Compliance and Governance

• Negotiate Terms and Conditions

• Drafting Service Level Agreements

• Savings tracking and collecting supplier performance data

Skills and Competencies

• In depth knowledge of various types of Contracts: FIDIC, NEC etc.

• Good knowledge of South African legislation pertaining to Supply Chain management

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Good knowledge of contractual risk and contract law

• Planning and organising skills

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement focused role

• 3+ years’ experience in a Contracts Management role

• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing Management/Supply Chain Management/Legal/BCom

• CIPS qualification will be an advantage.

• Computer literacy, including proficiency in the use of SAP, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word

• A driver’s licence

• Location: Germiston Hub
