SUMMARY:
Our client based in the Polokwane area and operating in the Oil Manufacturing Industry is currently seeking a Solvent Plant Operator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Effective operation of extraction plant according to the operating procedures.
  • Report all deviations.
  • Ensure daily log sheets, quality sheets, and master cleaning schedules are kept up to per shift.
  • Ensure all process chemicals required in the process are available.
  • Report maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance team.
  • Responsible for effective housekeeping of the area of responsibility.
  • Performing cleaning tasks according to the correct procedure and work instructions.
  • Comply to Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental Procedures. 
Minimum Requirements: 

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
  • Certificate for Operation of a Hazardous Chemical Plant
  • Must have at least 2 years experience as Operator in a similar environment. 
  • A clear criminal record.
