Solar Draughtsman

SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a self-driven draughtsman with a passion for renewable energy to support our engineering team by translating designs into detailed drawings. The role covers civil and mechanical detailing across various projects, with electrical knowledge seen as a plus. Tasks include layouts for inverters, buildings, solar modules, and cable routing.

POSITION INFO:

Use AutoCAD design software to create 2D and 3D technical drawings
Liaise with engineers to gather requirements for the designs
Calculate dimensions and material requirements
Edit technical drafts based on the recommendations of project engineers

Skills & Experience:
Create detailed designs using AutoCAD design software
The ability to work with multiple disciplines on projects
The ability to work with multiple engineers across multiple projects in parallel
Prepare and review rough sketches, and review them along with the engineering team
Strong written and verbal communication
Attention to detail

Qualification:
N4 / N5 Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice (MDDOP) National Certificate
