Solar Construction Manager

SUMMARY:
Join one of the leading Solar PV companies specializing in commercial and industrial roof top solar projects. Get exposure in both local projects as well as projects in the rest of Africa.

POSITION INFO:

Maintaining construction as per project schedule

Attending site meetings and liaising with contractors on site both mechanical and electrical

Manage junior technicians on site

Adhere and maintain project health and safety site requirements

Insuring installation quality on all projects

Assist in design of Solar PV energy systems

Ensure all lSO9001 and ISO45001 compliances are met during construction

Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience on commercial and industrial Solar PV projects

Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience as a Construction Manager on Solar PV projects

Experience in health and safety on projects

Must have a wireman’s license to sign off on COC’s

Must be able to interpret electrical drawings

Experience in managing an installation team on Roof top Solar PV projects

Qualification:

Trade Test in Electrical and Wireman’s License

NDip: Electrical Engineering

Must have valid driver’s license

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
