JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Software Tester to join their team in Randburg on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, exposure, Competitive rates and a great working environment.

As a Software Tester, you'll test software applications to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. You will be responsible for ensuring that bugs are found and reported, as well as testing new features or enhancements to existing systems. You should have an excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies and CX/UI design principles. Furthermore, you should have experience in any major development languages such as Java or .NET with strong experience in software testing methods including unit tests, functional tests and acceptance tests.

Requirements

  1. Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into test scenarios and test Cases
  2. Preparing test plans and writing test scripts for automation where necessary
  3. Perform Peer-peer test case reviews as and when needed
  4. Application of Various Testing techniques including but not limited to Unit, functional, integration and performance testing
  5. Develop and execute automated tests for user interface and back office applications and with UAT
  6. Participate in defining test approach, test plans, release and maintenance
  7. Co-ordinate and Schedule testing activity required by external
  8. Background in payments, partner management, vendor SLA and performance management, partner billing

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred
  2. Software Tester Certification
  3. UI/UX testing experience would be a bonus
  4. Test Automation experience is a must
  5. A good understanding of CRM, order management, product catalogue and offer management would be a bonus
  6. Azure Dev Ops experience is a must
