Introduction:
Our client is a fast-paced cultured company that is specializing in Business Automation and implementing business processes online and provides a full Intranet system. They are looking for the skills and expertise of a Software Tester.
 
Position Overview:
The Software Tester will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment and managing the programming team under the lead architect. You''ll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are documented and are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.
 
Requirements:

• Testing and Project management experience is a must, at least one-year proven software testing experience is necessary.
• must have a good grasp of technology and find it easy to work with new an unusual software technology.
• Setup and configure a cell phone (as example of someone tech savvy) – No programming experience is required.
• Experience with different kinds of software is a must and should be provable.
• Knowledge of basic HTML is a plus.
• Experience of management of a team should be demonstratable.
• Understanding Requirements.
• Developing testing scenarios.
• Testing software functionality and attempting to break and hack the software.
• Project managing programmers.
• Development Reporting and project managing documentation.
• Escalating issues and problems.
• Estimating timelines
• Developing user documentation.
• Developing requirement documentation.

• Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects.
• Work with software developers and project support teams.
• Identify business requirements.
• Plan projects.
• Monitor applications and software systems.
• Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing.
• Write and execute test scripts.
• Run manual and automated tests.
• Test in different environments including web and mobile.
• Write bug reports.
• Assess code.
• Carry out resource planning.
• Review documentation.
• Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
• Provide quality assurance.
• Provide objective feedback to software development project teams.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Design tests to mitigate risk.
• Present findings to software development and business user teams.
• Document analysis.
• Liaise with project teams in other parts of the world.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.
