Software Tester required for a global software company based in Aberdeen.
This company are looking for a Software Tester (manual and automation) with some solid testing experience behind them to join the team.
The company''s innovative, market-leading product can be utilised across pretty much any industry (within reason!), and the potential uses and applications for it is unlimited! With some long-term growth plans, now is a great time to join their testing team. Their testing team is pretty well-developed as well, and the technical leads are huge advocates of software testing and how important is in the software development lifecycle - which means your input and work is valued!
You''ll be a strong Software Tester who has some automation testing knowledge. The role will focus mostly on manual testing, but there''s an opportunity long-term to develop your automation testing knowledge if that is something you are into - the organisation are really passionate about knowledge sharing and upskilling.
You will most likely have the following skills and experience:
** Agile environment
** Continuous integration (CI) experience would be a bonus
** Strong manual testing experience - designing, creating and executing testing
** Some automation testing experience
** Jira
** Analysing test results and testing progress
Right now, they are working remotely, but are looking for people local to Aberdeen who can be office-based when this is possible. They have recently acquired new premises that are stunning (definitely offices to show off to friends when COVID allows!), and are based in the centre of Aberdeen so are easily accessible.
The salary on offer is competitive, roughly between £30,000 - £40,000 but they can offer up to £45,000 for someone more senior, with a strong benefits package, with perks like private medical insurance.
