POSITION INFO:
Our Client is looking for a skilled Software Tester to join our development team. In this role, you will work closely with developers and other team members to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products before release. You will also play a key role in documenting changes and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Primary Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the Supply Chain industry.
Experience with various types of testing (manual, automated, functional, regression, performance, etc.).
Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail is ideal.
A tertiary qualification (National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Personal Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and bug tracking.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Excellent communication skills to clearly and concisely report test results and defects.
Ability to follow strict testing procedures and maintain high standards of quality.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in documenting test cases, results, and defects accurately.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A proactive mindset, with a willingness to contribute to the improvement of testing processes and practices.

Advantageous Requirements:

Experience with testing in the International Supply Chain, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding industries.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting.
Experience with API testing and integration testing.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in software development.
