POSITION INFO:

Urgently seeking a Software QA Specialist who is available immediately!

Salary is market related, depending on experience and qualifications.

KPA’s Include:

QA of software releases

Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities

Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Liaise with external clients (Phone Queries & Visits)

Liaise with Internal clients (Colleagues, Development department)

Helpdesk administration (Log Calls, Follow up on calls, etc.)

Log calls on behalf of clients

Testing (Test completed calls or queries from clients)

Ad Hoc testing of product (Log calls before clients pick up problem)

Release new program versions to clients

Installation and training of products

Business analysis

Accurately communicate all technical specifications

Pre-sales

Project Management

Qualifications Required:

Matric + Diploma / Degree

Must have a valid driver’s license and car

Skills and Experience Required:

MS Office at intermediate level

MS SQL knowledge

Fruit industry system experience

Proven work experience in software development

Proven work experience in software quality assurance

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently and drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and high attention to detail

Always deliver exceptional customer service

Strong work ethic, self-motivated

Able to work remotely (from home) at times
