Software Developer ( Python / ReactJS )

SUMMARY:
Rapidly growing online retail company are looking for a Python Developer to join their growing Glasgow base.

POSITION INFO:

They are a rapidly growing online retail and E-Commerce business, based out of Glasgow that ship products worldwide. They have witnessed 100% growth year on year and are looking to onboard a couple of skilled Software Developers. They have employees across Glasgow, London and China and with their sustained growth over the last few years, are looking to build out a brand-new Engineering function based in Glasgow.

The business is run by a group of young and ambitious entrepreneurs, and they are really going places. Their realistic aim is to become the industry leader in their market in the next 10 years - they have recently brought on a very experienced hands on CTO to help lead this technical vision and are now looking to add a few Developers to his team.

The company are looking to design and develop a brand-new Software Platform that will be crucial to the business, and these roles will be directly tasked in this. It will truly be a greenfield project and you''ll be getting involved in all stages of its development, they are looking for Developers that are able to suggest ideas, functions and technologies that would suit.

The company have selected a really modern tech stack, as they want to make the new platform is slick and efficient as possible - the platform will be used worldwide with a lot of traffic so they are keen to make sure it can meet the demands of this. The tech stack they have selected for this is; ReactJS, Python (most likely Flask), Azure, AzureDevOps, Microservices and MongoDB - with a few other bits and bobs! They have openings for Back-end, Front-End and Full-Stack Developers here.

The ideal candidate will have;
** At least a couple years of commercial experience with Python (ideally using Flask or Django).
** Good experience using Databases
** Solid Communication Skills

The following is highly desirable;
** Microservices
** Docker
** Azure or AWS
** ReactJS

The company are based on the West-Side of Glasgow, right next to a Subway station and have parking available on site. They are ideally looking for these roles to be onsite positions especially during the initial design stages of the product - however some home-working can be offered in time.

In return the company are offering a salary up to £50k + benefits and the opportunity to work on an a genuinely interesting greenfield product.
