Creative Agency based in Glasgow are looking for a couple of skilled Software Developers with strong PHP skills to join their growing development team. Opportunity to work on a range of really exciting projects, modern technologies at a really stable and rewarding organisation.
The company have been running successfully now for over 10 years and have a number of really high-profile clients, they have a very healthy pipeline of work and as a result are looking to expand their current development team.
As it stands their current Development team is four strong (we''ve actually helped the company find two members of the Development team and heard great things first hand). They are a really sociable and friendly bunch, and ideally looking for a similar fit. They work on a really varied list of projects, it''s truly an environment where no two days could be the same, and definitely somewhere that would keep you busy and interested for years to come.
The company predominately work with Laravel, so experience with this technology would be handy - however they are open to other PHP frameworks (Symfony, Zend, CakePHP etc) providing you''d be willing and capable to pick it up! Additionally, each Developer works across the full stack so you''d ideally have good JavaScript skills too - they work with VueJS, ReactJS & some Angular, however just JS skills is needed for this.
In addition to technical ability, the company are looking for a motivated Developer that can keep up with the pace of their current requirements. Equally, on occasion there may be opportunities that you speak with stakeholders so are looking for confident individuals that feel comfortable translating technical to business.
You''ll ideally have strong experience with the following;
** PHP & MySQL
** PHP Frameworks (Laravel, Symfony or Zend etc)
** JavaScript Skills
** Front-end tools (HTML, CSS)
Experience with the following is highly desirable;
** AWS
** DevOps tools
** Agency experience
The company are based in central Glasgow however like most are predominantly working from home - they''d be looking for an office commitment of 1-2 days per week when things go back to normal.
For these roles the company are offering a strong salary (£30k - £60k depending on experience) + benefits, and the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest tech on the market and even pick up some really niche skills too.
