Snr Analyst/ Lab Supervisor

SUMMARY:
The incumbent will have to perform analytical test analysis and assists with the management of the Laboratory.

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• MSc/B.Sc./ND/BTech (Chemistry or related).
• Lab experience (Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), UV-Vis Spectrophotometry, Infrared Spectrophotometry, and Atomic Absorption (AA).
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of lab management experience MUST HAVE QC, GMP, GLP, SAHPRA legislation experience. (preferably in Pharmaceutical QC Lab)
• Knowledge of the scientific method, chemical products, test procedures and composition of raw materials

 

• DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

• Knowledge of CAMs, homoeopathic and herbal medicines an advantage
• Ability to initiate, perform and complete reports in a timely manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with complimentary medicines, Botanicals would be advantageous.
• Computer literate with good Numeracy skills
• Own transport
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Understanding the principles of profitable decision making
• A flexible attitude concerning work assignments and new learning.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges and able to work under pressure.
